Moreband has extensive online support pages and you are encouraged to use these pages to find solutions to any problems you may have. Most problems are addressed along with setup help for e-mail and browsers. If you are unable to find an answer, please submit a support request.

You may also sent an e-mail directly to supportmoreband.net. Please describe the issue or problem as completely as possible. It's important that the problem can be repeated. This helps us identify the problem more accurately.

Error 691: If your login has previously worked and now you are getting Error 691, your account has expired. This is usually the result of an expired or declined credit card. You may log into your account on our secure billing server and check the status and update information. Follow these instructions:

  1. Login to your account using your dialup username and password
  2. Click on Modify Account
  3. Click on Update Billing
  4. Select Payment Method as Credit Card
  5. Enter the new information (no spaces or dashes for credit cards and dates - numbers only)
  6. Click Update
  7. Select Make Payment
  8. If there is an outstanding balance, it will be shown.
  9. Verify the information and amount and click Create Payment
  10. Payment approval usually occurs within 30 seconds and your account becomes active again.
  11. Remember to log off.

Important: It has become very common for Internet connections and computers in general to be very slow due to spyware installed on your computer. Please run antispyware and antivirus scans to see if that fixes the problem. If you don't have this type of software already installed, use these up-to-date online scanning services:

If you are unable to get online to access these scanners, use another computer to download and save AdAware SE and install it on your computer. This will fix most spyware problems and allow you to get online to run the online scanners.

Also download and install McAfee Stinger to quickly eradicate the most common virii. It's not thorough, but very fast and free.

Moreband provides Internet access and it is your responsibility to ensure that your computer is free from spyware and viruses and is actually capable of using our Internet service.
